Project:

This project was for the removal and replacement of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems and steel doors currently serving the Technical Control Facility (TCF) in the Bagdad Diplomatic Support Centre (BDSC), Iraq. Additionally required, the removal of an existing fabric canopy and the installation of a steel-construction replacement (sun- shade) over the entire campus for improved environmental protection.

Duration: 3 Months
Contract Value: $161,803
Location: TCF, BDSC, Baghdad

 

Scope of Works:​​​

  • Excavation to an average depth of 1.2 m and casting concrete foundation for the shade posts

  • Installation of the steel base plate and connection to the foundation

  • Installation of columns above the concrete base, welding the base plates together

  • Installation of all supports (beams and pillars) and connecting them with bolts

  • Painting of all sections as required

  • Fixing the sandwich panel roof

  • Fabrication and installation of two metal doors

  • Design and fabrication of bespoke HVAC ducting system

  • Installation of 3 AC Units including insulation

  • Final painting of all ducting

  • Removal of debris outside the compound and disposal to authorised dumping place.
